Amazon.com Integration

Dane Solutions has experience creating automated processes to load several hundred or thousands of products into Amazon. We understand that the manual process of maintaining this information can be overwhelming and we are here to help.

Process

Posting your products on Amazon requires the uploading of XML feeds that specify the products that you wish to sell. Below you will find some information on the feeds that are required to have your products appear on Amazon.

Product Feed

Consists of the detailed product information (Title, SKU, Description, etc...).

Relationship Feed

Defines any 'Variations' between products. Products can vary by size, color, scent, etc...

Price Feed

Defines the prices at which the products will be sold.

Inventory Feed

Specifies the quantities available for each product.

Image Feed

Allows Amazon to display pictures associated with each product. The actual images are not uploaded, Amazon will download them from a location specified in this feed.

We use the Amazon Merchant Transport Utility (AMTU) as the transport mechanism to Amazon. AMTU is a Java-based application that automates the process of sending files to and receiving files from Amazon Services. To use AMTU, you drop your existing XML or tab-delimited text files in the specified folder on your PC. AMTU automatically submits your file, searches for reports, and downloads results directly to your computer.
